Ascents in Australia by Joel Porgand

An enjoyable outing. Last couple of pitches were a bit of a sting the tail after the pleasant rambling of the rest of the climb - they were also the cleanest & best pitches on the climb, so it wasn't all bad. Pitch lengths listed here seem accurate - pitch 4&5 run together left me pulling against rope stretch to clip into the anchor (using 60m half ropes).

Interesting climbing, pretty well protected.

First pitch only. Pretty good, rock quality was OK. Found the belay ledge very uncomfortable.

Little bit wandery & vegetated. Climbing was quite nice on mostly good rock.

Fun rambling line - but at times the route taken seems a little bit arbitrary. Climbing is mostly pleasant and on good rock, the traversing is novel. Enough spice to keep things interesting.

Fun line, some intriguing moves. Run out down low.

Stellar climb, no particular crux, just brilliant climbing the whole way. Super stoked!

A bit sketch in the middle, but a great climb!

Awesome climbing with an interesting style. Lots of loose dirt & small loose flakes on the face. If it gets more traffic it could clean up into a classic. No trad gear necessary.

Interesting moves off the group into a nice handcrack. Great little route.

Delicate down low into a nice handcrack up top.

Kinda Cruisy down low with a fun crack at the top. Stiff for the grade.

Traversed over from the end of Chris Mann Route to the last few pitches of this one.

Intended to do sunburnt buttress, didn't go left after the first belay and ended up this instead. Pitch 3 is excellent - highly recommended.

was ok? CWB is probably the best way up to plume ledge.

Very nice route! Long, fairly sustained & quite interesting climbing. Wigged out a bit climbing through the crux above a couple of hilariously shit cams.

A bit ambitious. Toe slipped & I peeled, struggled to trust myself after that.

Good route! Stayed out of it a bit more this time so it was even nicer.

Not as shit as it looks. It looks pretty shit though, so that's not saying much.

Had a really good flow, lovely hand jams to easy offwidth.

Went fairly easy this time. Some cool moves.
