A fun couple of moves. So much nicer with a pad. 25 year anniversary repeat.

27/28 before the mid-crux 'improvement' sometime post-2011. One of the best manufactured problems anywhere, with beautiful sequences, devious cruxes, tenuous smears, hidden holds (without a tick mark to be seen) and absolutely long and sustained. All in the perfect locale. A decade of infrequent visits and repeats, never bored. And it climbs both ways for double the value.

Always sandy, mind numbing traverse. Not even as a warm-up. Only to damage the heritage classic below it.

Very nice crack (V1/2) to death mantle.

Terrifying last move to nightmare mantle. Bring big pads and spotters, or a rope. Much harder than it looks (V2/3 and then the mantle). Everything on this wall needs pre-send brushing anyway.

20th anniversary repeat. Hooray for fairy brushers. So many great problems from bumbly to bumpy under the moss.

Everyone loves a highstep to cross-through backstep.

Not the way I expected. Look out Mr Hodgson!

Pumper. Straight up variant is good too and easier. Hitting the good part of the 2nd last hold is key.

Another undercling pocket crux. Not that hard if you skip the shit holds.

Devious cross-through undercling crux. I liked R->L slightly more.

The weak and timid person's Es Pontas. Surprising solid holds. Exciting top-out. A spotter would help the nerves, but the sand is soft and deep. I'm no J-Tree bouldering hardman.

So nice to see these boulders getting climbed. 3 rad variations with and without the sidepull from 1-4.

Love this one. So many goes to re-figure out what to do. Undercling the pocket. Not that one, not that one either, and right foot up. Flapper. Not a warmup but easy in the end.

Fat, 50 and unfit in February. 2 at most. Direct lap for giggles.

Fun. Straight forward pulling this time once brushed. Easier than I remembered.

End of day. Decent conditions (in November!) makes this cruisy.

Skip the $hit. Fun but soggy.

Graffiti Juice: start at Juice, undercling up to the crimp of Graffiti, last Juice hole and normal finish for a 2.

Not as big as you think and better holds too.

For the pumpers it's a big move to slopey pocket then moderate move to slopey lip. Pulled most of the slopey lip off which was disconcerting.

Low traverse is the money. How many holds above the break can you skip? ... And obviously also in reverse.

Out to the glued ear for 3.

Historically I believe this problem was right to left (repeated this way) and around the crux arete for proper pumpy 4. Solid rock (barring sandy feet), cool pockets, good friction (tad sharp).

Undercling pocket crux. Easy once warmed up.

Committing. Scary 3 if you top out direct.

2/3 Cool footwork to high left foot, straight up to sidepull, pocket, slap and jugs. This and brainwave make it worthwhile.

Direct bottom (crimps to throw), top (crimps) and bazillion variants (diagonal rail, obvious face crimp, etc) to the right is the pick at about 2/3.

20th anniversary repeat. Right hand pocket sidepull v2. Left hand pocket gaston v1. All in the feet.

Maybe a 1.

Stunning line and super classy and committing climbing. Nowhere near a 3 though.

Warmup in sandshoes. v2 on the moon perhaps.

In flip flops. Seems overgraded.

Very soft for six. Left sidepull instead of the undercling makes it very elegant. Easier if your under 6'

funky and a soft touch too.

4 with a modicum of technique.

No piking left. Less worrisome with a spot.
