Ascents in Australia as Clean by Mark Gamble

This one i could manage. ADD is definitely a grade harder.

Had to get Derek to lead it again so i could climb it.

Easier than the 11.

Bloody ell, long day out on the mountain: started 09:30, got down off the mountain 18:30, but was good, they got to experience a lot of trad climbing + safety measures.

Eat crow and second Derek up it. Very much at the limit of my lead ability. Would like to work this some more on TR.

Committing start, but easy for the grade.

Whoohoo, a bit of gumption & we got there.

Struggle Street, but got it clean.

Had to have another shot on it. The crux sequence is gold.

It's definitely not a 16. But very nice moves on it.

Ok, got second time.

Better once the moves were dialled in.

Another clean ascent.

Amazingly, I got there in one go.

With some guidance, stuck that tricky start move, then all good.

Pretty damn thin for a 9. Damo did a good job to lead it. In retrospect, I think it's just as hard as the one next to it. If anything, more committing on thin holds. Certainly as tough as any 11 at Andromeda.

Great day out, aside from one brief shower. Not too hot, cloudy = perfectus.

About the same as Date Anatomy, not much between them, in spite of the 2 grades difference.

With Dave & Gabby. Stinking hot; so much for the cloud cover. :-/

Not a 5. Poor, slopy rock make it a tricky lead. Still a fair bit of loose rock on it.

Those corner moves are way more than grade 4. Otherwise, perfect weather and a great day on the mountain.

With Damo. This is dangerously overgraded, it leads beginner leaders into thinking this is a grade 14.

After Dave & Ruth. Not a good lead=too many powerful left hand moves.

After Gareth. This was a breeze! Just flowed - a pleasure.

After Robbie (with Patrick), very humbling to have to give it up after 6-7 leads.
