The position is what makes this climb worthwhile. We climbed it in three pitches, a small ledge after 28m, the belay ledge with busted cam after another 28m then finally topping out. The final pitch - across the rocky saddle then heading left, was super easy climbing, but didnt have much gear. The GPS location is incorrect. The correct location is -41.513110 147.647660

Great to get on some features an Ben Lomond. Dislodged some rocks on the runout start which shook confidence a bit. The top is bomber

An interesting route... to say the least. Took about 2 hours for the walk-in, following some well marked cairns across the scree. I lead it as 3 pitches, breaking it up at the obvious ledges (great belay spots). First and second pitch are at the grade - some nice climbing, but a few loose blocks and sparse pro to keep it interesting. Bring triples in mid-range cams!

Last pitch, I couldn't see the obvious route which should have been grade 10, so went out right up the 'Tremulous' slab. Very true to the guide description. Some intense and weird climbing over the peak and then down a loose crack. Some dubious pro in a loose block and then step across a void into a chimney (which looks insane but is actually okay), onto a face. Another cam for mental protection, you go on a 10-15m runout up the 'Tremulous Slab'. Would not recommend for an 'easy' day out, but definitely worth the adventure!

First pitch was ok, some cross further up not a total choss festival. Not a bad intro to ben Lomond face climbing I guess...
