Some good progress today, but no send.
Managed to link from the bottom up to passed the crux (high point), and linked from the roof all the way to the top.
Will have to keep coming back =)
As usual, the endurance side-project becomes the project Got to the tea-cup but somehow did not manage to grab it right. Then 3 more endurance goes to roughly the same point.
Epicfun. Tried once a year ago, just up to the roof jug. Tied in again a week ago, found 2nd to 3rd bolt cruxy (until toe hook was found), and my beta for getting out of the roof was heinous.
Tied in early this morning before a day of study, somehow did it all with only 2 hangs. Came back in the evening and it went (with a little fight and some run out). Think that's 4th attempt, shortest number of attempts on a 26 for me, superawesome route with fun heels, and flowy movement.
Oh I know how to mess it up after the crux 😂. Had a try with the kneebar beta but was scared clipping from it, so I went to the jugs above anyway. Then proceeded to clip and unclip and reclip the roof bolt before doing a pull up exercise transforming the easy slab at the top into a little odyssey. Yay!
First attempt went well, did all the moves pretty easily and thought it would be just a matter of fighting the pump. That all fell apart on the second shot though, got some mental training to do!
Cool boulder problem, jugs, then a goddam nasty crux on tiny holds at a solid angle. Hardest sequence I’ve ever attempted in a sport route, inspiring to imagine projecting it until the perfect sequence is dialed.
One hang in the end. Need to come back fresh.
