Eod dog lap. Better then I remember but just as tuff.

Spooged off the crux first shot, all good second. Great fun.

EOD pumper lap, really great route.

Dog two sent to the pound. Pretty sustained this one with lots of moves and course slopes at the top. Pretty happy to knock this over placing the draws.
|
||||||
26 | ★★ Grease Monkey (Grease Moneky) | 20m, 7 | ★★ Very Good
Old dog put to bed placing the draws today. I was a bit worried about the hard thin start but it went pretty easy and held on tight for the top crux. Yay.

||||||
25 | ★★ Barbie Boys | 20m, 9 | ★★★ Classic
A couple warm-up laps. Pretty easy for the grade, mostly 23 jugs with single crimp pull in the middle.

Two shots, darn that start is hard...
The twin pockets on this route and so cool, I will be back one day for a rematch.

Wow this is a full value warm up on a hungover morning. I was really grateful for Andy for putting the draws on this beast right to the top of the cliff.
Not as choss as it looks with a much needed lay down rest half way. Long draws are a must in the middle. |

Why haven't I been on this one yet? Really tricky and sustained climbing in the first half then steep course not as good as you would like them jugs in the upper. Much steep then it looks and much better. The best of the 5"s on this side and the hardest.

Katoomba Area Narrow Neck Boganville Right Wall
24 | ★★ Boris the Blade | 16m, 7 | ★ Good
Wanted to tick something today. Not that hard for a 24 but with some big moves between good but course holds. Needs a few more repeats to clean up some of the loose rock but with the strange bolting I doubt it will get much traffic.
|
||||||
26 | ★★ Barefoot and Pregnant | 20m, 9 | ★★ Very Good
Got schooled.
This route wanders around a bit and with no existing chalk I got super pumped at top of the sloper moves and came off. Not as good as I had hoped it would be but still great climbing. Tricky foot work at the very top.

Well I had energy to burn so this good, looonng steep climb looked great. 14 draws including 6 extender draws will see you to the top of the wall. Onsighted all the way to the roof flake top but couldn't clip the anchors, core shot Paul's rope instead
Plenty of knee bar rested if you can find then and the rock is a lot better then I expected.

25 | ★★ Barbie Boys | 20m, 9 | ★★★ Classic
Every crag needs a classic 25 and this is it. Not that hard, mainly jugs but the undercling to crimp crux and improbable but perfect finish make this a great pumper.
Lovin this crag.

Pretty easy moves up to a couple of crimps at the anchors, graded 22 but pretty soft at the grade.
|
||||||
21 | ★★ The Original Bogan | 20m, 9 | ★★ Very Good
Once you finish Mr Ed your feeling a little tired then you get some technical moves along a flake to top you off.

19 | ★ Mr Ed | 14m, 6 | ★ Good | |||
Pumper then I thought it would be for a 19, linked into the original bogan for the full tick.

23 | ★★ Venissieux | 23m, 9 | ★★★ Classic
Wow glad I got on this beast, it felt tuff at the grade but super fun. This route is like a soft mans wipeout, long traverses away from bolts.
