Ascents in Shady Wall

Sharp and the holds needed a brush. But pretty cool little jaunt

Fell off start moves but a sick climb.

Sunset climb and the send vibes were onnn

A much better little slab than expected. A few of the holds weren't obvious to me on the onsight, but once i knew them it was pretty chill.

Warm down after multi. Climbs really well.

Sustained slabbing, very mossy needs a clean

Enjoyable climb. Thin moves over the lip. Think it will go next time

Found a good finger pocket midway. Gets easier as you ascend. Really fun first move.

This one was a tough customer. Worked very hard for the onsight. Much easier with reach. Would be a good route if it was clean.

Fun tricky move coming out of the small roof. Note: There is a loose rock just below the small roof with Xs on it.

sooo crimpy. Will got through the start without using the tree but I couldn't reach the same holds from the ledge so used tree. Didn't find the headwall reachy, it's more just straightforward crimping, first part is more difficult.

Tough crux - I thought I had it sorted and would get it 2nd shot but alas ...

2nd shot was much better but could quite stick the crux. Might get it if I try it first thing rather than the last climb of the day.

Surprisingly good climbing and very worthwhile! And 100% shade was sooo nice in the afternoon. Tough and technical climbing at the crux with small feet. Very sequency but quality climbing. A few friable little edges up high, but nothing major. No joy on 2nd shot!

Blew my first go with a broken hold! Then did 4 laps on top rope clean. Only once did I do it without the tree at the start. Mega climbing in a mega location on a cold and beautiful evening by headlamp.

One fall on a red point attempt. Still some challenging climbing after pulling the overlap. Fun climb.

Aided entire route using stick clip for practice.9 bolts.

Felt hard for the grade. I assume the tree at the start is in if this is meant to be a good warm up.

Good moves, shame it was bolted on galvanised bolts, worth a clean and a rebolt. Felt slightly harder than CE

Finished up Sundial, nice moves

First pitch is trickier than Consumer Eve being a bit more sequency. the second pitch is pumpier than it seems and has a really committing throw!

If the rock was better it would be classic! had some funky moves in the middle sections!

Very dirty, don't bother. A lot of broken holds too.

Nice climb. Well protected.

Only did p2 as combined Consumer Eve with this as one pitch, well worth doing!

Finished up p2 of Sundial as 1 long pitch.
