Ascents of The Jewel Thief as Hang dog

Probably the hardest 21 I've ever been on. Boulder moves up to start traverse to first bolt are awkward and not well protected, even with clip stick.

Humbling sit at the crux, despite beta and draws on.

2*?stainless clip and go biners on non-stainless mallions on the anchor bolts - suspect these are the famed "cast" stainless carabiners with a history of cracking ? Couldn't see any obvious cracks today. [Per Mikls old post - "cast biners held between 160- 2000kg"]

Some intense stuff for 21. Maybe i was tired, but this felt harder than a lot of 23s I've done

The start is not ideal...I skipped the start and did the remaining. I find it quite sustained.

Good holds but sustained climbing... set draws on first attempt, then fell 2m short of Anchor on second... So Pumped!

Should have known this would be hard being the easiest route at the crag! Long and sustained! Fell just after the next bolt after the traverse, before gaston move. Really nice and will definitely get on again to get that tick!

sat once to try figure out the crux, which wasn't obvious to me, and again at the second last bolt when I got so pumped I dropped a draw which miraculously bounced off a tree and landed on the ledge

Warm up onsight attempt, hit a wrong hold and couldn't back out of it so i fell. Will tick it off next trip here

Peeled off at the big move after the crux. Wicked climbing. Next time.

Only one attempt for warm up. Punted the first harder move (didn't see the jug, went for the dyno instead!). Excellent climbing.

Wow, what a pumper, like a longer better version of Jaws. Love it, definitely coming back to lead this underclinging madness, well bolted, and spicy!
