20 Inspiration Crack Trad 110m Very Good
Ben Jenga
If you avoid the first pitch and rap to the carrots at the start of the second then this route is pretty rad multi. The rock isn’t as bad as I had expected, the moves are fun, the gear is good (takes hex’s and 2x #3, #4) the biggest downfall for me is the approach from the lookout is pretty horrible Bush bash but it’s short.

20 Inspiration Crack Trad 110m Average

With No-Chalk Rob. Clean 2nd P1 and P3, Onsight P2, P4 & P5 (Linked). Inspiration Crack is not very inspiring. Sections of great climbing, but so much average and terrible climbing (not to mention atrocious rock!) that I find it hard to recommend this to anyone. P1 has no redeeming features whatsoever as you balance your way up fractured shale; P2 has rad climbing the whole way, but the first 6m or so (until you turn the arete, and enter the funky balancy traverse to gain the steep stemming crack) is sandy and loose; P3 starts poorly, but contains a nice 12m section of tricky old-school thrutchy climbing on fairly good rock after the initial hideousness; P4 is average rock the whole way, and quite runout (unless you bring a plethora of #4 cams), but the climbing is okay, if unmemorable; P5 is runout ironstone dinnerplates, and kind of forgetable.
