No dice on the back-to-back

Second shot repeat when I got confused and pumped on the warm-up

Figured out some nice beta for all the new tricky bits. Had my heel slip as I went for the pre-traverse jug on my second lap. That final move at the anchor is a real bastard!

Love me a David Barrie Spray Down™. Not bad for a no star route. If you like rock climbing, good chance you'll find something to like about it. Cool moves turning the lip. 5 bolts where Mountain Ant has 9 lol

Did the crux as a big throw. Sets you up nicely to exit the crux, but quite powerful.

Drop knee beta feels much more repeatable.

Climbed to the crux and had a nothing go at it. Room for improvement in the bottom half. Enjoyed it more than I expected too, pretty keen to work on this

Rpt, that start boulder is muy hard. Not a good warm-up

A rude number of sessions falling on the last dyno. Decided to hold on for a change 🤙

Fell a little bit higher, Lloyd made me try some different beta at the top and holy fuck it's so much easier.

What a glorious morning in the sun

Been thinking about this one for 6 months, just haven't been able to get back to it

Best attempt yet? Fell in the same spot (final crimps before big move), but had juice, got thrown when my left foot popped.

Felt way more juiced when I got to the final "rest" and got to the crimps with nothing in the tank.

Went for a sus. The final move is a bit tough and the crimpy traverse might be hard when pumped, but not heaps harder than HTTBC. Seems like 28 if you don't use the jug out left on HTTBC before traversing right. Might be 27 if you did it that way.

New highpoint twice today on the crimps before the final throw. Was getting instantly pumped after the bad rest. Just need to dig a little deeper and it should go.

Warm-up whips

Not a great day for progress. Figured out two very useful beta improvements though. A delicious breeze finally came through by 7pm

Hanging draws. Even though I was sweaty in the heat, the rock felt really good

Fell in the same spot as the flash go and figured out a better sequence to get the small pocket. Should be able to inch my way up to the last crux next time around!

Big fan of this. Quite approachable and lots of fun sequences.

Pretty meh start but some cool holds and a nice sequence or two. Keep looking and you will eventually find the anchors. The last bolt before the anchors looks like it loads the biner badly. This cliff displays some bizarre bolting decisions on the more esoteric routes.

EOD speed lap, big pumped

Being a bit easier, more consistent and having a nicer crux makes this the better of the two newer routes IMO. Worth getting on

Dropped the onsight going for the slot after the crux. I feel like I have 'nearly onsighted' quite a few of the 24s at this crag. Oh well

Had to bite down reeeally hard on one crimp and get my foot up high. Not the most enjoyable crux but good climbing either side and excellent rock. A nice addition

Felt powered down, but just managed to make it happen . Finished at the shark pool anchors because why not

So close to an onsight! Got pumped out of my mind and threw for a chalked up sloper at the mantle-y bit.

Cruisy to a big deadpoint into a gaston. Then the top had me beat, that pocket is shiiit. Tried the punters left variant and finally understand the description. Not psyched to get back on it in a hurry

Felt easier with power in the bank. Maybe a bit much for a warm-up though, very plump

Stupid bolting. Powerful moves, good fun, just ran out of power on the second shot.

Onsight fell apart pretty quickly. Went alright second shot. Punchy boulder and then cool, weird climbing to the top. Not too bad for 25

Been a while since I've climbed at the brae. It is a very good cliff isn't it.

The missing chalk at the crux ended my aspirations of doing this while hanging draws for a warmup.

Pumpy to the anchors, makes the runout exciting. I dig that crux sequence!

Soo pumped! Bummed to drop the onsight just before the good stance. Such silly bolting, no need for the groundfall potential.

Sampling while Matt's draws were up. Managed most moves except for a couple in the crux. Seems like a fun route to work, lots of subtleties.

Minced the start but held on until the top when I committed to a hold that wasn't actually good!
