2 Laps. After a long morning working one of my upper mountains projects, this one felt hard today. Fun enough for what it is.

Good climbing on good holds. I struggled to move past the cave due to strength limitations. Need to climb more! Holds are good and moves are really fun. 👌

No chance! Even with the beta explained to me this climb is beyond my physical strength at the moment. A really good line. I am keen to try it again after a lot of hangboarding. It seems harder than other 23s I've climbed so I think 24 is more likely.

Back to work on the proj. CLeaned all the holds and marked out the important ones. Had to work the first crux more than I expected and skipped the second crux, but after the initial two crux's climbed it clean. Want to add 2 bolts to the top section to top out and move one of the bolts on the slab.

FA. Some great climbing at the start and once you start turning the cave roof, but the escapability into the choss cave, and the rock surrounding it knocks a start off. Might be hard at the grade? Though the grade is contingent on following the line of the bolts on the good rock, and not straying off into the choss.

FA. A "Lowers Mountains Classic" (with all the caveats that statement encompasses).

Good start. Needs a lot of love but Frothy did a decent job of tidying up the holds to make it climbable. Just need to figure out what to do with the KitKat flake on the cave roof 🤔. Jugged up most of it with an ascender.

Really good climb with small but surprisingly sturdy crimps and feet. I think the traverse move about half way was the crux and could push it to 19 but it may have just been because I'm out of practice. I hang dogged the first go to clean some holds then climbed it clean the second time. Had to commit to the crux more than I thought I would have to 🤙 😊.

Short'n'sweet. Went direct through the small roof at the start to gain the line of the bolts (rather than heading out right, and traversing in via the corner).

When climbed this way, it's quite sustained the whole way, with lots of interesting thin moves.

First Ascent. Climbed ground-up before it was cleaned/brushed, and it felt like gr21... But after a good session to clean it, it's settled at 18.

An interesting short slab, on mostly good rock, marred only by its escapability.

Good Route, Thanks to the developers. Completed as 1 pitch to Nook. The corner vertical rock in the corner at the start looked loose. Gear placed in horisontal breaks. Pitch 2 to top. Take some longer runners, every 3rd bolt seemed acceptable. I would skip the top pitches to avoid dragging the rope through the dirt. Boulder problem at top is good, but not worth the choss imo.

What a beautiful climb! Genuinely enjoyed the variety of styles: good jugs, flakes, stemming, a bit of smearing, it's all in here. If a move seems hard, explore a bit more, there are a lot of features. The views are absolutely fantastic. Because the route is new, there are still a few loose rocks here and there, especially on the 2nd pitch, so worth being a bit mindful. Thank John for enabling us to enjoy this piece of art!

Fun ramble with two pleasant chin-scratching moves which both offer multiple solutions. Great exposure at one point with pleasant views of the gorge below.

Sketchy to approach the anchors from the top to TR/TR solo, but you get around this by approaching with your rope through the rap mallion above Jasper's Jaunt (about 10-15m away, gentle gradient to cliff edge but slippery leaf litter).

Only had a few draws on hand, will lead it soon. Fairly clean, ready to lead, will feel even nicer after a bit more brushing.
