Ascents of Binary Neil

I definitely need some beta for this one.

Was the route i came to do and was again ruined by the key slopey crimps being wet.

I really rate this route; except I'm totally not comfortable heel hooking that high. That was definitely the crux for me; thought the face was quite straight forward. Should go with good conditions though!

Repeat. Draws on for jenna. Off at the crux, badly needed a brush.

End of day beta session, so e spicy moves on this, very sustained!

Warm up laps didn't really worked but after 3rd shot Sand bag gone!

Yep, even after all these years, I still can't do the move to get OUT of the cave. The "conventional" crux is challenging, but not TOO bad for me, but my legs are too long for the normal "kneebar" approach to the cave, and my arms are too short to do the span to the holds out of the cave. Never stuck the sequence once today, despite a fair bit of effort.

Slipped off the crimp mid crux. Cruised it next shot. Great route.

Still need to come back to figure out that thin bit above the lip.

Stoked! Committing to a dicey move on the slopey crimps led to the OS.

Probably is the best of the harder routes. Nice sequencey climbing on good rock.

Really enjoyable. Made a lot easier by the knee bar. Got it 2nd shot after using the knee bar.

2nd shot, this time with AJ's hat as a knee pad and a better hand sequence on the crux.

Not a bad rainy day option. Fun climbing. Really nice head wall after the crux.

Bit of a clean up and it went down easy, sick! Favourite line in the cave so far and one of my last projects. Time to go shopping!

Was well on my way to sending while putting draws on but slipped straight off the friction hold.

Tough!

3 more shots today. One putting draws on. Two, slipped off one of the crux holds and three, fell off one move higher. Wanted this today but oh well, next time.

Worked the moves, felt ok but on the send go i stuffed around through the crux and pumped off. The climbing down low is cool but the climbing up on the head wall is great! Keen to do this next time

EOTD slaughterfest. For future reference any "bouldery" section in a sport route description directly translates to punchy moves usually involving 1 or more dynos...3 in a row here. Seems like a great climb, but the conditions shut down the transition into the headwall. Keen for a rematch!

Spanked! I liked the start, and the face-moves on the headwall are awesome (I need more skin and less spooge to link that section), but negotiating the sentry box to gain the headwall completely and utterly shut me down. There might be more positives to say about this climb, but they're tainted by my personal hatred for sentry boxes.

Spooged off this a few times on those slopes before getting a good go.
