First multipitch it was so much fun and so much less scary than I thought. Proud of myself doing some leading 😊 there's a great mixture of climbing, steep traverse, arete, technical face, roof and stemming.

Really nice! Surprisingly quiet and in the shade for the whole time. 4th pitch definitely had some tricky moves but the other pitches are value for money with some cool roof moves. Was nice seeing how well Jeff and I climbed this compared to our whymper attempt a year ago

We were in the shade the whole climb (until 2pm) so ended up being a bit cold. 4th pitch is the crux with the roof needing a heel hook and pulling on a couple crimps to get done, followed by some pretty challenging moves. Highly recommend the climb!

Super cool, loved the whole thing. Second pitch felt long because of how straight it was. Just took our time scoping out the fourth pitch standing on the ledge and pulled through for an awesome final pitch.

Great experience. Committing traverse at the start of P3. Had to hang and have a look at the roof move on P4, got it after a minute. Nice vertical line the whole way.

Good fun outing and nice community vibe chatting to other groups on whymper and SD. Took a fall after getting off route above the roof on pitch 4. Stuck the sequence after a bit of a hang. Will get this clean next time for sure.

Fun day out, the bolts look a bit old but seem fine to use. Beautiful views like every climb around here. Belay from tree at the top of the last pitch with a backup safety to your last bolt. Crux move is not so hard if you have reach.

Onsight p1,2,3,5 Aid on crux(120 sling clipped to bolt after roof for foot hold) p4 because i couldnt be f to commit to coming out from the roof. To sunny and serious dehydrated. Interesting climbing and good fun. Would be better in the morning before the sun comes out and frys everyone on the wall.

Whymper already had two parties so we diverted onto SMPU - great climbing the whole way with a strenuous move through Pitch 4 which requires a bit of faith in some small crimps and a high foot. Not quite the views or exposure of Whymper but still superb. Climbed in about 3 hours - about 3.5 hours car to car.

Great line! What an adventure though as we got caught in a rain storm on pitch 2 and got soaked to the bone.. Decided to push on and climb out. Pitch 4 felt a little hard at 20? Got it clean up and past the overhang, which got the pump going, but then peeled off between 2 to 3 bolts up and took and awesome whipper back down past the overhang:)

With Scotty Wearin. Onsight P1 and P3 & P4 (linked), Clean 2nd P2 and P5. Though the rock quality isn't particularly spectacular, I thought that the climbing was better than I expected, with a few particularly memorable sequences amongst pleasant easy face climbing. Linking the pitches made for an enjoyable marathon with negligible rope drag (by skipping every 2nd bolt).
