Good day out climbing in a three. Always a good idea to check the location before walking from the car in the wrong direction. Quality climbing and the mention of rope cutting and exposure on the second pitch boulder make it scary but it's not as difficult as you think.

Early morning jaunt up this lovely climb. First pitch incorporates solids rock with some nice moves - very enjoyable. We ended up doing the traverse line to see what it was all about. Amy lead then I followed. The traverse was soaked from rain a few days earlier and a bit stiff - but made it across without a rope severing fall.

Last pitch wasn’t too bad either, with some nice easy arete climbing up high. Done by 8:30 - time for a coffee!

A beautiful climb! The first pitch has some fun, thought provoking moves, the traverse is pretty wicked, though I think I would link p1 and p2 together for efficiency next time. A great first multi for Richard!

Great old school mixed adventure. Quality climbing on mostly pretty good rock with a fun mixture of gear and bolts. First pitch felt pretty solid at the old 18, second pitch was wildly cool and hilarious for 8m of climbing (and nails if you can't do a chin-up) and the third pitch was also better than expected with the arete section being totally worthwhile. I don't think i agree with the idea of rapping off at the end of pitch two, go to the top! Pretty easy walk back to the main path with minimal bush bashing.

A very worthwile, back to springwood before 10:30am style, adventure. Pitch one is the money, amazing climbing! Pitch 2 is hilariously short and still worthwhile, hanging from one leg on a heel toe cam was my personal highlight. Good quality!

Day two of Sunrise Send Series.

Highlights include beautiful vistas of an ocean of cloud; very fun pitch one and brownpointing pitch two when I threw my only bolt plate away at the end of the traverse while I was half mantled on the belay ledge ahaha

Pitch two is quite the sandbag (say grade 20 aswell) do not lead this if you are not confident.

Did pitch 3 thought it was worth it and walking off the climb was not difficult at all. Follow the very faint bush bashed track up to cave system and head right till you rejoin the track.

Very good. Pitch one is gold. Pitch two a bit less so... I'm not much of a trad climber, so it felt solid. Very exposed climbing on natural gear with enough bolts to keep it safe. If you are not topping out don't bother with pitch 3...

Brilliant. One of the best 18s I've done. The traverse is definitely a sandbag and felt more like 20 but looks much better than the direct.

Lead pitch 1 and 3, clean 2nd pitch 2. Tricky moves, not heaps of gear on p1, scary hand traverse on p2

Clean except for 1 rest on the traverse... Yes, I freaked out!

Sparse gear on the first pitch, and some hard, scary moves. Short, funky and airy second pitch, but the break gets wet after rain. Third pitch is just generally awesome, with some actual moves despite the grade. Fourth pitch is a dirty doddle to the top.

P1 only. Awesome lead by Jimbo. Hard trad-sport arete. Classic Narrow Neck.

great rock, not sustained though, but still thought provoking. need smaller cams for p1, and i guess for p2 as well

Very technical and a little pumpy for my liking but defintely one of the best 18's ever atempted. 1st pitch only, 2nd pitch rained on so had to rap off. last pitch is a 13 so not really worth doing after the maga classic 18.
