Ascents of Displaced Persons

Feels like 23 to me. Very good, but an anchor below the dirty top roof would be good.

Very hard 24, crux at the top is brutal

Full night time head torch ascent. I got a little lost on the traverse and stumped at the crux untill I spotted a key hold. The finish is on the top of the cliff which was dripping with water. Good fun.

Thin and sharp down the bottom. Little dirty past last few bolts.

I found the mid height crux pretty hard. Nice wandery climbing

That low traverse, oh god the traverse...

Scary traverse - surely it could be fixed by slightly moving the fourth bolt? Has a tricky crimp crux - but its only 1 move and the rest is nothing difficult. Easier than most of the 23s here...

Ok, but not up to the standard of nearby routes...

A fantastic journey, the top looks wet and dirty but was fine. Holds are clean.

Worthwhile. Lots of rock climbing.

Stiff crimpy start, enjoyable upper section.

2nd shot. Punted the onsight at the LAST BOLT, when I got lost trying to figure out where this route finished (the actual anchors are like 4m back left!), very disappointing. Not too hard for a 24 at Shipley, with no "shut-down" crux (unlike almost every other route here), but generally sustained climbing. The low-traverse is the low-point of this climb, but after that it's all class (and well-bolted, unlike the start). Should probably get more traffic, which would (hopefully) keep it cleaner. A tad dirty and chalk-free up the black streak section.

Draws on and sent 2nd shot. Two minds about the run-out, its stupid but exciting. Pretty awesome climbing.

Tough and technical​ moves!

I find this thing hard for 24. Fell off this time at the final crux before the last bolt in the black rock.

came off screaming near the final bolt after i missed a couple of 'jugs'. Definitely one to come back and try with a little more endurance!

The start is not a great warm up.
