Ascents in Deceptor Buttress

This route is OK I guess but I would not give it a star. Kinda chossy and slabby, but not in a good way.

Turned the scramble up to this climb as pitch one for Piret to practice building anchors. Fun climb with a couple of exciting moves for a grade 7

Not a trad route like the guide book says. Only use for the double rack I took was to make up for the bolt plates I didn't carry 😂.

Very pleasant slab. Definitely worth more than one star.

Seconded in approach shoes. Good route with some moves in the upper section where the bolts are

Trad for the first slab, then shiny carrots for the second half of the climb. Quite good but be careful of potential ledge falls. Fixed hangars for belay and best to walk off (rap not advised)
