Ascents in Cocker's Gully

Pretty cool line with three sections of varying climbing styles. Got through the crux but got pumped and didn't want to take a decent fall on a shitty micro-cam.

Fully psyched to finally try Integral today but foiled by a stiff southwesterly seemingly blowing straight off the Ross Sea... This was a good, interesting and above all warm line. Worked out a more rotator-cuff friendly layback option up the final groove second time around.

Great climb! Quite interesting up the crack, and then some serious grunting to get over the buldge.

Lovely thin face climbing. Got through the the wall and then blew the onsight on the arete move.

Need wide gear if you want to lead it as a beginner and not run it out.

Loved the finger crack / hand crack. Not so much the finish.

Damn, thought i nailed the crux but ended blowing it getting up over the bulge. Jeez its awkward.

A little bit of Joshua tree at booromba. 16 if you have big hands and know how to jam. 18 if you have never heard of a hand jam. I really like this climb.

Surprisingly un-ugly

foot slipped off on move to arete after last bolt

Bolt seemed unnecessary on inspection and then godly on lead. Rested a billion times to figure out the desperate move past the crux. Good times.

No #6 cams with me so thank god for the bolt at half height. Thrutchy, shoulder-chomping and delicious. Will be back for more hand-fist stacking action.

I got schooled by the wide crack before the bulge on lead, so Chris came along and finished it off.. I will red point this next time
