Nodes in Perfect Area

Major access issues in all areas at present. Walking through the state forest is fine but DO NOT CLIMB south of the lookout. Permission has been granted by the new landholders to climb on the northern part of the cliffs. This includes the Beehive, Fiegs overhang and the Cave. However getting there is tricky. A landowner to the north is alleging climbers have damaged his property. Do not cross at the water reservoir or trespass on the northwest side of the ridge. The first wall encountered south of the saddle. Ledgy on its northern aspect it has 2 routes on the south corner

From ground level scramble up slab for 5 m before clipping first bolt, into crack on right then up past bolts to DRB anchor

The wall immediately to the left and slightly above the buttress

Up knobbly, mossy wall

Up the crack just left of arete, then hard moves right through bulge. Hard to clip second bolt- just preclip it.

The left thin crack with slightly underprotected start and finish. Veer right at end to use anchors on PB

A small and well featured cave facing west, The rock looks quite fragile but is surprising holding up well. The hangers used on these routes need to be changed as they are rusting quite badly!!!!
