Ascents in The Gonk

Wowwww ! Could do the lower moves but I need to stretch for the upper half steming. Sick to watch Vicky cruising it .

This route has everything. Steep, slab, pockets, jugs, crimps, good feet, no feet, some bolts, lots of runout. I was very scared for most of my ascent but found a way to the top. Could use one bolt between the 5th and 6th but the rest of the falls are fine. Also the anchor is terrible. The Gonk would really gain a lot by having a couple of well placed U bolt lower offs. What an epic place.

You really have to crimp like a bastard on this one. The gonk is an outrageously cool place but this is probably not a 3 star route. Sharp and straight forward on okay rock

Really cool dyke feature with a very Euro feeling crux. Shame about the bolting tho.

Fun climb in awesome setting. 1 hard move down low followed by a jug haul to the top.

Sketchiest top rope setup ever but was way too cold to be getting wet! Did it clean definitely come back on a warmer day....

Very cruxy at the start. Grigri-soloed it clean, but not keen to get wet with current temps!
