Ascents in Darlington having Beta

A great fun climb. Unfortunately a yanked the rope too hard and tore my sagittal band. Looks like I'm out for 6 weeks.

Beta - A balancing move to get traverse to the left. Throw your left leg out and pull your toe to keep on the wall. From there it's a big move from the two crimps up to a high right hand. Awesome technical slab. Absolutely pumped to try and do this again.

Not too bad a climb once you know where the good holds are.

Nice little warm up to get used to the surface. The rock is very textured.

Couldn't even get off the ground. Something missing?

Great beginner Trad route with plenty of gear

This is much less death defying when you have an arm full of micro cams. Hardly felt like I was about to have my ankles obliterated at all

Really nice! Great edges, delicate feet and balance with some fun crack work!

It was hard. Slab, crimps, sharp rock. Was glad it was a top roped attempt and even more glad to find out it's not a "16" like I was being told at the time... makes more sense!

A flake at the start has broken off. Not sure if this effects difficulty, but the climb is still doable

Didn’t notice the crimp at 2 bolt and stuffed the onsight. Got it second go placing gear on lead. Pumped silly with my amazing bouldering endurance haha

Quick lead to set a top rope for the kids. Probably one of the better easy climbs around

Great trad route on large boulder. Enjoyed so much climbed it twice. Only wish it was 20metres longer!

Fun slab with some small crimps

Awkward start. Can be avoided by going left and using gully. Hollow granite slab may someday shear off...

Super fun. Micro cams significantly increase the safety of this climb! Will go ground up next time for sure

Harder than a 16, about a grade higher than turpentine - not very beginner friendly

climbs like a 20. not sure if holds have broken off since it was graded?

felt very hard, but pro was good (micro nuts and .1-.5 cams) but if you have thin fingers it will likely be a lot easier.

What the hell. Nuts popping everywhere - but very fun. Maybe launch into with micro cams

Great crimpy climb with DBB at top

Tried to pull the flake off and it wouldn’t come out... don’t place gear in it, but may take a foot hold of you’re desperate.

Nice warm up.

Move to gain the vertical part of the crack feels quite stiff for grade.

Plenty of gear at the start. Limited gear for the slabby top out

Tough for a twenty, and with potential for scary falls down the ridge

Would be a stellar climb if the rock was better. Placed a cam after the last bolt and when giving it a tug it blew out the sides of the crack. Had to do another couple of moves before gaining a deep enough crack that would hold a fall. Made for interesting climbing and no red points haha.

Thought about leading it, but the rock here is so brittle though I wouldn't risk my femurs.

Felt more than just one grade harder than Born of Boredom to the left of it. Not sure if that makes this an 18 or the other a 15...
