Certainly more like compacted sand climbing than rock climbing in parts, had a few small foothold break on me, my climbing partner managed to rip off a head and shoulders sized piece of rock at the arete

Another quick lap on this one. Lots of seepage on the descent but the route was dry as. As is always the case with the sea cliffs, so much bloody sand! Super fun regardless, pretty special to have a multi as big as this so close to the city

Adventurous day out in a pretty cool location. We rapped at first set of fixed lines and then again at car axel. I guess first rap isn't necessary but still works. Was a bit worried on if there would be seepage but the route was completely dry. The route description is pretty accurate on gear and pitch information.
P1 - good gear in horizontal cracks + ubolt. Was enjoying the climbing and accidentally extended this pitch to just below P2 bolts. P2 - good exposure and safe with bolts. P3 - chossy and easy as described. P4 - glad the ladder was there. Trying to find non-sandy holds added to the pump factor. The recommendation to shorten this pitch to grassy ledge is a good one. P5 - bit chossy and sandy with some exposure. Really enjoyed P1+2 climbing and P4 could be okay with a good brush. Overall awesome day out! |

Aided the crux pitch and pulled on a bolt or two at the final pitch to finish up
