Ascents in Frog Buttress by Max Gordon

The best part about this is when you climb into the section that gives the route its name, i know i was puckering.

Lost the onsight at the sloping ledge. I really did think it was going to be a jug. By the time i had matched it and looked over the lip i knew i was about to take a ride. I whimpered like a small child who's just dropped his lolly pop in the sand when i slapped desperately for salvation. My impending doom was apparent when my sunshine state sweaty palm merely moistened the ledge. My chest has been hairier ever since.

I would have worm my rash vest if i knew how wet the holds would be. Not a great option in the direct sun.

Watching your poor friend trying to insert themselves into Frog's Eye of Mordor is just great. Such a pleasure on second.

One of my favourite routes at Frog. I have no idea why it's not a 3 star classic, maybe length? But all the girls say that doesn't mater anyways

Awesome delicate climbing. Very strong on the fingers. Be extra careful with small cams. RP's are so helpful for the start.

Tried my best but thought i better give up before i give myself haemorrhoids. kudos to those that have clipped the anchor.

You could probably tow away the cliff on nuts, but small cams seemed the obvious choice.

The anchor for this one is at the far right of the first ledge you mantle (the topo in the guide is a bit confusing). If you keep climbing you'll inevitably have to climb through a blocky gully to belay off a tree (not ideal).
