I wasn't sure I was enjoying this at the time, but by the time Douglas had finished seconding, I was convinced it was an awesome route. Thin and steep to start, then pleasantly featured lower groove gives way to thrutchfest 2016 up the butt smooth section. Great training for the valley! Good rock, great line, sustained climbing, go beat yourself up on it.

A good route with bad climbing? The start is great, and the rock is good the whole way, but the top is a really long increasingly desperate thrutch. Good to have done it once.

This was an absolute marathon of thin hand jambing. Early corner is thin hands with features for feet on the faces. Top half is more thin hands but they're in the back of a flaring V groove which makes it a little strenuous. Little to no thrutching if you climb it front on as a crack. The thumb pump was real.

Deserves more attention.

How have I not done this before! Stellar climbing the whole way with great protection. Weird thrutching that's not quite offwidth! Superb line that deserves more action

Fell on the black totem at the start. The flared body groove was interesting. Good gear. Very good and worth a lap. Long and challenging.

I think 20 is fair. Im not very good at thin fingers and 20+m of thin Vgroove chimney.. but if i was.. 20 is very fair.the book says 21 🤔

The route was less lichenous this time which was welcomed. Sat to recover a very stuck nut.

Is it 20 or 21 the jury is out. I vote 21. Overhanging double finger press with blind footjams is kind of rude for 20. Rather backhanded way for me to welcome myles back to outdoor climbing. Myles: "ah crux is abit hard, lower me down cheers mate!" Me from my elay at the BST chains well off to the right: "ahhh how do i put this gently.. this one is a mandatory top out mate.. sorry." Speaking of rude at 20, trap for young players is surely at least 23 for fat fingered gentlemen goizus. Was not expecting that humbling right before lunch. Drank it off at the doogs with an ORIGINAL northern while myles out-hydrated me with a crisp. Probably the superior option all things considered.

Tricky start, but got up to the crux okay, where I thought Jack stemmed his way through the polished rock when in fact it is finger locks + blind foot jambs! Once I had the beta + motivation of no option to lower, I pulled through,but I've never worked this hard on a 20/21, if anything.

Actually really enjoyed this frog workshop, but jelly arms/legs for the rest of the day. Cheers Jack and nothing a crisp lager couldn't fix.

Pulled the bouldery start after a couple of attempts and sat to retrieve a stuck cam. Very groovey and flared jamB fun, one for future Sam.

Watching Lee do it first made it look easy... a great first taste of crack climbing

Sussed out the starting moves and refined it over four or five rounds, really enjoyable process and sequence.
