Dont solo to the ledge! Get a couple pieces in before the mantle. I double alpine kneed! Tim had to avert his eyes from such punter style. Rest of the route is quite nice though. I hereby sanction this route.. wwwwworth it!

Whether you put on VR goggles and simulate climbing on mount maroon, or whether you climb this, it is the same experience. Very nice.

Good for practicing your but placements. I wonder if you could finish right to short order to gs?

Great climb! Fun wandery climbing. Bit spicy at the grade, so bring your head game and small wires if you're leading around the 19 mark or lower. Was great to see Kyle flash Androcles in fine style too, in the heat!

Heady start. Nice movement through the upper reaches.

Bring ALL the small wires and microcams you have to protect the first half!

Fun line, some intriguing moves. Run out down low.

Another lovely climb. Again very small pro at the start. Lovely on top/ second

Geez, don’t strain yourself with naming this climb Rick! Anyway, not a bad little number. A little dirty and potentially dangerous rock in spots, with fiddly pro, but climbs okay! Definitely a 16 as the guide says, but I can see why theCrag has it at 17... that start is near unprotectable (one 5RP) with a solid run out to the PR after you do get a small cam. Worth a lap though. The tree at the anchor probably needs proper assessment. It’s burnt out and hanging precariously. Plenty of good rock and a ledge behind it for a DBB.

The start felt a bit scary, mostly because it's really hard to protect - I could only place one decent black alien.. Then pretty much a huge runout until you get to the piton... so definitely need to have a strong head game to appreciate this route. Then it's fairly easy terrain. The wide stemming moves at the top are quite cool... The route wonders to the left quite a but, so probably a good idea to bring lots of extenders... I think I got a little bit off route into the moss land towards the end... Definitely worth a lap, but probably wouldn't rush to do that one again.

Checked out the gear rapping off SO and didn't like the look of it, so had a cruisy top rope. The climbing's OK, but happy not to have lead it.

Good climbing on rubbish gear. Managed to fiddle in some good wires, but it was more effort than it was worth. Also kind of disconcerting that the second half seems to be held together by dry mud.

Not that great, and neither is the gear when it matters
