Ascents of Hollywood Rattlesnake as Red point or First free ascent

Humid conditions made this send all the more satisfying, one of the most rewarding climbs in my time climbing at frog.

Found getting established on this short and punchy line difficult. The moves to follow are amazing, and certainly droppable. A style i need to practice more of...

Dropped the OS at head-height - got it second shot.

Seconded this on one of my first trips to frog. First time on lead, super smooth. Lots of gear placements to make it feel comfy. Missed a lot of genius wire placements which Kyle Addy showed me on the rap.

Excellent climb.. especially when you are wearing a fabulous dress billowing in the wind around you and being belayed by a maid! Froq day was unreal!

Rattly locks, rattly feet, rattly crux and rattly mind; all can be experienced in Hollywood. A true test for the footwork.

Couldn't get up the start last season. I think the Nutella bread breakfast along with 5 eggs on the side helped.

Super fun climb and felt super safe with the bomber gear. Relieved to have gotten the redpoint after flailing around last week in the beating sun. Turns out that it does get easier when there is shade on the cliff...

Came here nice and early to take advantage of the cool mornings to get the send in! Not having sun burning your feet makes a whole lotta difference...

Shorter than I remembered....

Got rather pumped fiddling with with gear going through the first few jams, but managed to hold on till the end. Just!
