Ascents in The Secret Garden having Beta

Wouldn’t recommend. Contrived route with unnecessary and unprofessional bolting. Not sure where the three stars has come from…

Climb 38 of 50. Not really a route in it's own right, but that sums up a lot of climbs at this crag.

Again, one of my biggest criticisms of this crag is the contrived nature of many of the routes. Sometimes you literally find yourself looking at two bolts separated horizontally by just over one meter, because 2 or more routes climb so close to each other. Ridiculous. Just pick a line and develop that. No need to develop another route right beside unless it's clearly an independent route in it's own right. Think about the logistics of all those shared anchors and weird offshoot routes when the crag is busy. Sometimes less is more. Just my opinion. Climb 37 of 50

Really the only climb that should have been bolted in this particular section. Most of the other little offshoots are contrived and unnecessary, in my opinion. Climb 36 of 50.

Good climb. A bit hard to clean. Best to top belay and rap down.

A little cross still, broke some holds up top, probably made it easier.

Great slav climb. Once the rock is a bit more trustworthy this would be a hidden slab gem

Mostly scrambling with a few moves that felt like actual climbing towards the top. Just be aware that if there's a party on this climb already, then they've pretty much taken up 6 climbs (because there are 6 climbs that all start on this one and branch off either left or right). In one case the bolt for one climb is only a meter away from the bolt for another climb. I'm not convinced that's the best approach for route development at a place like Beerwah, but that's just my opinion.

Actually didn't mind this climb, but I must have done it the easy way because it felt like a 14 or 15.

More of the same - i.e. mostly scrambling with a few climbing moves. The better pitch to do as pitch 1 of Quandary, in my opinion. Very easy for a 17.

I'm not sure why this climb has it's own separate name, as it's just an extension of Pass the Brush (or Blow Harder, depending how you want to do it). In parts it climbs very close to "Soiled Plans", so you have to make a conscious effort to stay on the route. The Left/Right variant thing on pitch 3 seems a bit contrived. Seems to be a bit of a thing at this crag that many climbs are very close together. I guess they were trying to squeeze as many separate lines out of the area as they could, but in my humble opinion they've over cooked it. And yes, be very careful not to dislodge the loose rock on pitch 3 as it will no doubt rain down onto anyone climbing "Blow Harder" ", "Pass the Brush" or perhaps even "Soiled Plans". There's also a very hollow sounding thin flake of rock about a meter in length towards the very top that should be avoided too.

Fun thin area after half way. Not worthy of stars like anything on this crag but good to climb something different.
