Super wet rock, and very careful considered climbing. A fall on wet, slabby terrain with reasonablly spaced bolts was a concern. | 180m, 14 | ★ Good
Heavy rain shower while I was at the anchor above pitch #7. How Azza came up that pitch with rope, bag, in the teeming rain I will never know!

Just as spicy as I remember it being, made trickier by the single cloud in the sky deciding to darken the already hard-to-read Tibro rock for the duration of this pitch. Thoroughly enjoyed the part where a three-finger crimp in the crux section decided it no longer wanted to remain attached to the wall, and instead turn into a mono. Somehow managed to hold on, probably because I knew I'd already skipped a couple of bolts by this stage in the name of rope-drag management and a fall would've been disasterous.

Top belaying on the final pitch was utterly serene. Being completely alone on a moonlit cliff and watching lightning dance in a distant storm is something I won't soon forget. | 180m, 14 | ★★★ Classic
Full moon adventure. Started climbing at about 9pm, graced by clear skies & a perfectly positioned full moon to make headtorches not necessary for this incredible experience.
Decided we'd try link pitches & send the whole route in only 3 pitches. Would not recommend. Even extending every draw and skipping a bunch, drag was still gnarly. Topped out just before midnight & rapped down caves route. Bit of bush bashing and cane-toad-trodding had us back at the carpark at 1:30am for a weary drive home. |

Great to come back and lead this pitch! Really fun climbing. I maintain my original opinion of the grade, even on lead it’s a soft touch. Stiff 18 / solid 19 in my opinion. Great second by Andre!

Harder than I remember (did this back in 2016 or 2017), but it was graded a 21 back then. Interesting how perspective affects the perceived difficulty level. It was a walk in the park for a grade 21, so I remembered it as being 'easy'. 19 does feel about right though.

Definitely run out compared to some of the other pitches. Would be nice to take some of the bolts from P4 & P5 and chuck them up here! Not particularly hard climbing, but a big fall on slabby rock is a nasty thought. | 180m, 14 | ★★ Very Good

Proper good quality climbing! Linking pitch 4 and 5 was definitely the way to go - not a lot of rope drag with a few runners. The two best pitches on the route were a treat, back to back.
We finished by scrambling directly up from pitch 8 anchors and belaying off some trees. Wouldn't recommend doing this (I didn't read the guide properly). Potentially could have skipped pitch 8 by scrambling left into cave 5? I would have preferred this to other options |

Only one thing for rap beta: if rapping with one 70m, don't skip any anchor if you weigh less than 50kg, rope won't stretch enough to get down to the anchor top of p3 (or p4?) 😅

Gear beta: A single rack is sufficient, if you must bring doubles make them micros. Swap out the #5 (DMM) with a big hex. Rap beta: If on 60m doubles, I’d recommend descending by linking 7-6, 5-4, 3-2, 1. On a 60m single you’ll have to rap each pitch. |

Nice to repeat this route. An enjoyable outing - led all pitches, simuled the last four, and watched the drama of a rescue unfold from the top!

Simul-linked pitches 1-3 and linked 7 & 8, both reaching the final anchor after 2h45m. Great fun route, though the rock quality on pitch 4 is a little scary and reminds me to take my time

Came back after our onsight send last weekend with some adjustments to our strategy. Did it as a single mega pitch of 190m and topped out in 55:51 minutes! Super stoked. People could go quicker I think. Great day out.

A more direct option to sunburnt's second half. The 53m crux pitch is a winner but take half a dozen long runners to minimise drag!

Must have been having a very good day on the day when I said this was only a 15! Found it pretty full-on 2nd time around. Ben did very welll, leading almost all but the crux pitch. 8.10.04 I was a bit hesitant about climbing this on such a hot day (36), but didn't have much choice in the matter. Steve had this day alone to climb before he left Australia, so upwards it was. I don't think I have ever been so dehydrated as I was on this day! A set of nuts is really all you need for this one. I would say it's a 15.
