Really fun sustained route, rock quality wasn't ideal but much better than Debutante. P3 had hard moves with ledge falls for the leader, big hex or two might help. Otherwise very well protected, double small totems really soothed the nerves. Micro nuts handy for anchors

I don't claim to understand the Ewbanks grading system, but pitch 1 seems difficult for the grade. Albeit a really fun move between the crack systems.
Pitch 2 of this climb is super exposed!
Pitch 3 climbing past the Scarab horns was great!

Don't know if I'd use the word pleasant. Very adventurous climb, also very serious and would add an R rating. Make sure you're very comfortable at the grade. Potential for very big swings between solid pieces of pro and you're often on sandy fragile rock that readily crumbles under hand and foot. The belays that rely on cams are just barely enough to keep you sane.
All that being said, you get some great positions and the bolting seems solid enough. We bailed out after just before the 7th pitch by following up some FHs, pitty because the next few pitches had DBBs.

An awesome warmup if you're doing Pythagoras, though potentially a nuisence to clean. I got surprisingly pumped towards the end heel-hooking along the slopey break. P2 looks radical and obvious... intriguing.
