Ascents in Mount Zero

Fantastic route in the most weird location bhahaha. Last moves are nails and unachievable with my current fitness. Maybe one day I’ll be back if I move to civilisation and can torture myself in the gym again. I think I’ll keep building that pyramid for now.

Actually didn't feel too hard. Crux was big and reachy for me.will have to train my underclings

Nearly pumped off it right at the end, but Scotty the wise mountian guru calmed me down for the send.

A Tricky start leads to a thin crack crux at the 2nd bolt into funky hand jams until the 5th bolt. From there I think it finishes up the anchors of Rhythmic pumper, however it looks like a key hold has broken off after the 5th bolt, making the finish WAY harder... maybe even too hard for mere mortals.

Bonus story: Charlie Creese recalls showing this climb to Peter Croft back in the day, who proceeded to flash it Greenpoint on a single rack of cams.

Finally got it after sticking the campus move five burns in a row and dropping it on the top.

All the moves feel pretty good but bloody powerful finish

ok for a winter climb. 10 degrees but sunny.

Don't quite know where we were supposed to go at the blank wall. Steve went straight up using a heel hook. I halfway went around to the right then back left. Were meant to "step left" but there is a small tree...

Made it more interesting on accident by going left under flake then up and a tad rightward into water groove. Oops. Top half was good.

Cool bit of rock. More like a cave than a chimney.

First half was quite scary and hard. Or maybe I was just breathing hard. Either way very happy with this lead. Well worth it.

Surprisingly nice face climb on good rock.

Failed on the last move. Looking forward to returning to it.

First ascent. Really good boulder route and I'm not just saying that.
