Ascents in Mt Stapylton Campground by Almar Postma

A little better then Easier Puzzle. A bit longer too for a warm up.

Awesome roof-laybacking on jugs, but came off throwing for the last hold....

Very bouldery start! Then it lets up a bit but still has great climbing to the 1st rings.

Clean this time, 3 years later..

On-heimer (Alzheimer's Onsight) = I'm sure I have done this climb before but it has been 3 years since I was last here. Nice and pumpy with a good flow of holds and a large throw to the finishing jug.

Left variant this time. A roped boulder problem.

Nice start, could even be a bit run out for the 2nd bolt if its at your grade! (Deck-hitting potential).

The rest is an easy warm up.

Dogged it in the dark! got the start move on the 3rd go. Rest at 2nd bolt. rest at bolt just before dyno. Got dyno on 1st go. Cleaned off the gear under the light of the crescent moon. (Stewie failed to get the dyno move in the fading light of the sunset so the crag cleaning monkey had to be brought out again)

After knowing the moves it was quite easy but still pumpy fun.

2 falls! Tricky move from off of the mantle to the arete. Finally found 2 good options.

1. Move a bit further left and grab a good high side pull then onto arete.

2. Dynamic high grab for hold on arete.

Another pump climb but got it!

Got it clean the 2nd time

Pumpy overhanging fun. One rest near top.

Short pumpy climb and tricky mantle move.
