Ascents in Epsilon Wall Bouldering having Beta

Didn’t flash but got it second go.

First go pretty happy with that but to me felt more like 6.

Very tricky very body position dependent for me. Took me a while to identify the right foot would work for me!

2nd visit, 30mins + 12mins. An interesting problem trying to keep yourself off the pads.

Got to be very accurate with feet. Very memorable boulder.

Crux continues to confound

If you're struggling to send Damsel (V3), try this instead. Good movement on good holds, and possibly an easy tick at the grade.

Honing in on the send. The unwind move to the crimp came oh so close to going

Gave this a real go and have the beta dialed up to the crimp rail. Time to try it fresh...

Retro flash.

Yeah... Those tiny cracks are mean to thicker fingers. Just not worth a full crimp on a single pad of finger. The risk of dry firing and doing a tendon rn ain't it

Wild right toe hook start.. even the side plank start just felt off

Not sure why I pulled onto this one.. felt like Epsilon Crack, but worse

Warming up

Boy oh boy, sent on the second go! Moves just felt great, and was able to stick the technical moves fairly comfortably. Super solid right heel hook cam sets the rest of the climb before the traverse, would recommend to everyone seeking their first V7

Crazy to think that this was somewhat difficult months ago. Crucial warm up to prepare for the V7 finish

Did in skate shoes with no pads. Not worth the energy

Got the crux move second try, linking from the start was a different beast. Interesting seeing the different betas from our different heighted gang

My first at this grade! A really beautiful line to look at and climb. Day flashed it with two dabs so of course I had to go back and redo it...

Looks hairy but I can see a highball top out for this line.

Don't know what I expected after five days on the rope but fark bouldering is hard

Some funky beta allowed me to skip the horrible crimps.

Can't get the move into the crack. Another day!

Sent after 2 tries this session. Felt like had the moves much more dialled and felt fresher. I'd like to thank La Roca club and co. First V5!
