Ascents of Soweto as various tick types

Made it up about 85% of the climb cleanly.

fell on the rope twice but once i worked out the sequence wasnt a bad climb, 21 seems a bit harsh of a grade

fun moves - good to try out. Quite pumpy

Pumpy for sure on the onsite... A decent 7m+ whipper from the final few moves. Shook out and climbed out.

Crux was lower than I was expecting, and through thin gear. Mostly medium nuts in the lower half, and small nuts to RPs in the upper half. Think I only placed one cam - a hand size one in the horizonal break.

Thinned out the rack and went for glory. Took a giant lob from the top and my little brass nut did the job. Stoked.

Made it past the final good rest near the top and pumped out. Only had one try

Pumped out on last couple of moves - had to rest on rope to finish.

Got scared and rested at the top. Didn't wiggle in the wire well enough to be confident. Really good climbing though.

Good holds, just needs stamina to get to the top without a rest

I got about 3/4 of the way up but my hand were just dead and i couldnt hold onto anything, so had to give up.

2nded Jev. 1 rest Couldn't get Jevs last piece out!

The screws are turned increasingly as you go up...whimped out after I began to pump out at an average wire below the top. Ended up running it out anyway after short rest.

Spanked me off 2.5m from the top. Place lots of wires!!
