Ascents in Kangaroo Point as Pink point

Stoked for Shellie Joseph for pushing through the fear and leading this twice!

A bit desperate initially but easy enough to figure out. I'm glad I'm tall! Potentially a couple of ways up this but only tried staying right.

Weird and enjoyable climbing. Gets you twisting all over the place.

Crux feels way easy these days! Punted due to a wrong footer for the mono.

big kp milestone today. 4 session. i figured out the top slab this morning and sent the next go. the no hands rests are massive, it really splits the climb into 3 parts. i'll try a bit more direct at the end next time to see if i can do the last bit with a bit of pump. i reckon its not too bad though so it wouldnt change the grade. fingerlock is painful so i recommend tape on the left pinky. my favourite part is the slab at the bottom and the top. the moves in the middle are a bit too awkward and painful for me to be much of a fan. i reckon ill traverse to cucumber and do the crux there which is way more fun and then traverse back onto barfj.

Quite good! Top anchors is crazy overgrown ATM, but head right into the shrubbery to discover the anchors. Love the mother of all finger locks rivalling Pig City!

Getting to the first bolt through the mank, veg and wetness is a tad sketch. Stick clip is a good idea. The rest of the route is superb. The top anchors are hiding beneath a matted mess of vines and I found the anchors - whilst in great nick - under a pile of dirt. In need of some garden work and more traffic! 2nd shot. Great face climbing.

Tried the dyno first go but didn't have explosiveness with the fatigue. Ended up doing a static way that's the way to go. Practiced getting to the first bolt on TR to dial it in. Bit heady but not as bad as I expected.

Harder than I remember! Pretty sure the crux crimp has broken off as it used to be a little sharp edge. Now you're crimping the shattered remains which sucks in the heat! Classic KP. Solid 24 with a few ways to do the crux. Epic fingerlock.

Rad to see I can still climb this. Refigured out the subtleties of the beta and sent 2nd shot.

Not bad as an alternate to Idiot Wind to try something different if you're inclined.

The rock at the first bolt start is the chossiest rock at KP by far. The rope in the sling hole needs replacing/removing. Has been there since shortly after the FA I believe. Contrived finish, but cool movement once you commit to the contrivance. Route would have been better and more natural with bolts farther left at the top and going up the LH arete.

Second shot. This actually has some fantastic climbing and is a a great line! The top is very grassy but barring that, it's a great line with good steep slabbing. It is unfortunately - however - behind a "no climbing" sign and we did get told off by a council cleaner so retrieved our gear and left.

Day 8. 74-ish down! First time on Waterfall so good to put it to bed.

Got it second go after sussing the beta and cleaning off the slime, dirt and muck.

Muck aside - this is actually worth the time! The boulder problem at the bulge is great.

I do not see how this is a line. It is no different to Crap or Razor. Should be removed from the guide imo.
