Cleaning for Michael Moore, cool route, a few crimpy moves in the second half had me gripped, but was pretty happy to pull through this one!

Pretty sure I’ve done this route a couple times before, just never logged it! Good fun, still getting used to being on the spicy end of the rope again.

Watch the loose rocks at the anchor ledge if lowering/toproping!

Again cleaning for Michael Moore, some really cool moves/positions on this thing! Happy to do all the moves, but definitely not fit enough to go clean yet

Actually super fun after the not great rock quality in the first 2 meters

A couple more goes, feeling a lot better on the lower section and sorted the finish but still missing a solution to the crux as Daves bridge solution leaves me too low.

Hopefully the predicted rain will settle the dust. Really great and varied moves and steeper than it looks. One go on TR to brush the holds then sent with a bit of power grunting and wobbling before we had to leave.

Still baffled by a 2 m section. Getting some linkage. I think we need to work on presses.

Rpt. Quite a tricky one

finally back on this after a long time, not through want of trying. Quite greasy conditions today. Dave making much better progress

Rpt, didn’t have wires with us. Fun route.

Rpt. I keep thinking a clean up of this route is needed. Nice traddish climbing on bolts, a couple of finger size cams can also be used.

Rpt, needed a bit of a brush. Left hand crack glove/ tape useful for me. Unfortunately I had brought 2 right hand gloves ( duh!)

Rpt. The moves on this route are great, if only it remained a bit cleaner. Rock improves a lot after 8 m. Calf pump! The vegetation up high doesn’t interfere with route.

Tricky at the top, great climb!

Pro was a bit sparse

Felt steep for the grade. Sustained moves with some thin technical climbing. Calm lead by Mark despite the fall earlier

3-d start, sustained middle, and an airy exit. A bit dirty otherwise a great climb

Add a grade if you refuse to use the mega bird-poo hold in the bottom of the chimney. Found this a very sustained route and finally reaching the chains was a welcome relief.

Really good climb but took a big whipper off a scungey foothold crossing the slab and found the crux bulge above needed a fair bit of power. Odd bolting situation at the very top - runout up and left around the final bulge.

Got up early to make the most of the morning before the mega-front arrived. Bashed our way around to Barley Wall, which is well worth the trip. This climb required plenty of bridging and was quite sustained. A tad dirty but deserves more traffic.

A bit tricky to protect the start. Sustained through the crack with some delicate moves. Was not feeling super psyched today, so nice to push through this.

Thin crux with some powerful moves. Glad I seconded

First FS. Good bridging

Beautiful balancy climbing up the arete in the setting sunshine. Didn't really have to pull on anything. Failed to carry up the trad rack so cleaned using the Slip, Slop, Slap anchors, which made for quite a bit of effort.

Technical with nice compression moves. Made the ending way more desperate than it should have been... Smooth effort from Shubh.

Worthy of a star for the intense sequence up high. The carrot sticks out about an inch... Placed two bomber medium nuts from the jug to protect the last section. Barely made it!

Did a direct start through the left bulge to avoid the initial corner muck. Thought-provoking climbing and I have to say way less gear up the final crack than I was expecting from the ground. Had to get Shubh to throw me up a 00 and still ended pretty runout up the finish.

Great climbing except for the spiky bush. Awkward moves into the crack. Real shame about all the ugly bolt scars. That said, an easily accessible lower-off somewhere on this section might make sense?

One tricky move.

Lovely bridging on huge holds. Perfect climb for beginners/kids.

Lovely bridging and down palming up the corner. Broke a hold while resting which sent me flying but otherwise clean. Cool way to end first Kaputar trip.

Fave of the three we did here. Nice 3d climbing on mostly good rock
