Ascents of Double Dozen having Beta

In the rain, top 3rd of the crack was very wet, made for a good challenge had to work for it

What a great little climb. Pumped out 2/3rds up on the onsight. Went easy next go on the top rope but didn’t have enough light for the next lead burn. Next try!

Awesome route. Did a silly and put myself in a precarious position trying to get the second piece in, with the crowds gathering to watch me deck. Much to their disappointment, I sagged onto my hurriedly placed nut, lowered to the ground, then went up again with a micro cam to add to it, and then launched up to victory. Disappointed I couldn't make it an onsight, but so it goes. Packs a sweet punch for a short route.

Terrific fingerlocks and smeary laybacking up a steep 0.3-0.5 sized crack. A very unexpected onsight. Stoked to the moon.

First lead attempt, first time back on this for a couple of years. Felt really good, but misread the traverse. Whoops. Next time!

first attempt of the day after a towrope sesh yesterday, took a whip halfway and pulled through

Yewww! Can't believe I toproped this thing for two years before leading it. A truly excellent crack which doesn't require any crack climbing skills

disappointed not to get the onsite. Not enough power endurance in the finger cracks yet. Ill come back and get it next time. Beautiful climbing would be better without some of the moss and spider webs

Went for the Red point and rushed a little falling mid hieght

Pulled gear and went again, heart breaker at the finish falling at the sloppy top out

came back for another session after 2 months worked out better gear beta, top was pretty wet, it will go with drier conditions and maybe 2 more ground up attempts
