I found it was easier once I found the sequence and beta. Some faffing around at the start before big launch to "jugs". Some strong bouldery moves before some more jugs and the lip. Final hard move over the lip to glory. Amazing climb =)

First shot I got to crux and fell. I dialled the moves three times and had it worked out perfectly! Second go, 100% sure of send, I fall High gravity day. No psych. Rad line though.

Crimpy, technical climbing. Felt like I really had to throw to the crimps on my first shot, but after some dogging and beta refinement it became a bit smoother. Got it clean second shot on top rope. Just need to learn how to place gear and might be able to go for a proper tick one day haha.

Onsight ruined by an abseiling group. Almost shat myself on the beginning bit to the break as i was struggling to find good placements Didnt end up getting back on it. Next week.

If this is the route on fixed brackets (and one carrot) then this was a great climb. Had a fall when didn't reach a hidden jug by 1mm and tried pulling up on nothing.

Awesome crux moves to pumpy as all hell clip. Finished through the Washed up Punks roof. I think going that way makes more sense then what the guide book suggests.

Had to wait until the commercial abseil group moved off this, and the wall was then in the sun. Sigh. Crux is super interesting and easy to bugger up, as it turns out. Dropping the onsight of this will haunt me forever.

3rd attempt today if you don’t count climbing washed up punks to put the gear on. Good fun, took a little longer than I thought to get the crux dialed . Someone should put an extra bolt between 5th and 6th it’s easy but heck that’d be a 10m whip without rope stretch/lifting belayer

The one thing I learned from this, is that top rope solo falls are scarier than trad falls. Climb felt nice but hard to see that through the terror
