Ascents in Far Crag as Attempt

Still clueless. Unless I'm allowed to put feet in the couch corner? Still, those holds are all impossibly small...

TRS attempt, got nothing. Spent a lot of time sitting looking at the rock and I still have no idea how you're supposed to get up. All ideas lead off route one way or the other

Tried on TR. Didn’t get to the tit. Nice starting moves.

recent rain has made it super dirty right now, makes it a lot harder

Fell on a wet jug. Will attempt again when dry.

Sharp & fingery. Not very enjoyable

First attempt at this climb. Took the direct route and made it to the third bolt but ran out of steam after that. Will try on toprope solo to work out the sequence before I have another crack

Got three quarters of the way up clean. 22 on trad is tough...

Only did the first few moves today (too wet) but I want to record the beta I worked out for the start, RH side pull, L foot on to reach for the pocket.

Sort of a TR attempt but not really as I always intended to use the arete at the top as a variant.

TR attempts. Found this too hard today. L shoulder is fucked and I struggled with my grip on the small horizontals. Aga found nice beta with a small crimp out R, swap feet, then up to the top of the R big side pull rather than a big R move to the side pull.

Bumbled around on. this today. Hard for a 16...

Too greasy to get clean today.

Gave this another go on TR (sort of). At the start, I used the good RH side pull, then gained the good horizontal. From there, R heel hook to get the small poorish pocket with the R hand. Bump L to LH poor hold, then LH to good hold. At the main roof (you can get a no hands rest there) I got a high R hand in the flake/crack, L hand to poorish flat top sloper, then R hand to bobbly undercling, to get a quite high L hand to good hold. When the vertical crack gets poor I cheat and use the flakes on the R arete (I know that's not the route but doing the crack is too hard for me, so for me, this is a nice (easier) variant).

Tried to Trad lead this after working bara dur and doing lords prayer. Fell at the crux. Protection held all good! Great belayer with the catch.

I need to rekindle my relationship with the hangboard and be better.

Top rope attempt only. Found the start hard first go then with beta it was actually easy. Very achievable up to the crack. Didn't really want to risk hanging off finger locks in the crack. I'd come back to this to give it another whirl any day...

Went for the onsight, had 2 sits at crux. Redpoint next time
