Fun! a bit pumpy, some cool moves! Saw 2 wedgies in a tree on the approach

Really good! lovely flow up face and arete. Some techy and thoughtful moves on sidepulls. annoyingly, someone didn't brush off their tick marks :((

Enjoyed this one. Nice side pulls and good feet.

Favourite climb of the day, a bit more techy in the middle. Had a foot slip and just muscled through it with a boulder bro moment.

Best climb of our session

Physically not hard but there are a lot of thin moves above small gear. Gear is good but not plentiful. Take small cams.

New route, not bad. Squeezed in next to Triclinicity, and may cover some of the same ground.

Climbed again to add DBB.

The guide described this route as a dangerous pile of choss. Climbed it with Phil (who did the FA in the early 80's and was a bit nervous about my plan to clean the loose rock) tony and Al. It was fairly choss free, steep and stout. Pumped out getting into the overhanging sentry box and took a whip. Pigs arse grade 16! Either needs an upgrade or I need to learn to jam (or use some sort or technique).

Fun climbing. A little weird up the bolted section but not too bad. Then really fun rock afterwards with lots of variety. Really good protection for most of the way up. Didn't feel like an 18 after the bolts, almost forgot to place gear it was such a breeze.

Stepped left at roof. Grade 17ish

Direct version - really fun! Felt like grade 19/20. Good cams through roof.

I think 19 is about right. Or old school 18. Pretty good, a couple of hollow sounding flakes near the bottom but it’s pretty straightforward climbing there. Never felt unhappy with any of the gear.

I liked it. One committing move which adds some fun. I ended up humping the arete shortly after said committing move, which I thought was quite entertaining.

Did the 17 variant

Wow, I've never tried so hard in my life. so thrutchy and desperate, I almost fell out a million times. Direct through the steep crack, so pumpy with some incredibly awkward moves in the pod. really proud, had to fight so so hard.

Cool moves. Broke a large footer but made a new jug so that’s nice.

Absolutely CLASSY well-protected and varied trad climbing. I climbed this as a giant 60m pitch placing 8 bits of pro in total which made it an amazing and speedy warmup with no rope drag. Classic.

First climb in Tas. Fun with a few funky moves.
