Ascents of Starship Trooper having Beta

P1 only. Quite a bold pitch in the first half. Nice climbing.

not easy to place confidence inspiring gear. Matt fortunately found adequate protection after I came back down

Did Battle Cruiser then P2 of this. Interesting techy climbing that shifts between a series of rounded parallel cracks. Fairly sustained from the ground, then eases off at about 2/3 height. Eats small cams!

P2 only - we rapped in from the top of battle cruiser. christened my doubles with their first lead fall! real nice face climbing

Pitch 2 only stiff off the deck, took a whip or three and was sketched out by gear prospects but theres enough. Pretty awesome climbing.

If you left some gear there hit me up so i can give it back

Was not happy committing with the gear I had, so I down climbed. Think I will try some other routes before coming back to this.

Really great first pitch; have heard the second pitch is ordinary... but moved onto Space Cowboy before that
