Ascents in The Black Bay having Beta

I found this much harder than turbo deisel. The start is about 3 hard sections that once dialled should be easy. Very straight forwared once you pass the mantle.

Beta - about two bolts from the end it might feel very difficult. There is a hidden high left hand that makes it easy.

Second lap

Working moves. Really struggling after 4th draw. Moves feel far and I can’t find feet. Got through the move that I found difficult last time.

Finally got through this one clean. I was too scared to realise I was at the crux.

Best to stick clip first

Bummer getting so close, but keep making little errors in the micro beta. So close.

Felt so exposed, the DBB is set too high without nearby protection, could do with additional bolts

Spewin nearly flashed it whilst putting draws on but messed up the mantle at the end ugh.felt pretty cruzy second go.

Tricky crux down low.

Quite cryptic in a few sections for me.

Really cool. Glad to have beta. Would luv to have a go on lead if had more days here.

Fell on the crux. Asked for beta from a local on the wall and did it easy after short rest. 2 stars ⭐️⭐️, awesome moves. If I lived in Perth would 100% come back for the red point. (And likely many repeats) O and bolt placement is perfect. 👌

Has done this before so thought would be fine, struggled my way up! The crux was harder than I recall and fell a few times.

Scary first clip

First sport route outdoors in 9 months and this 19 made me lose my head 😵‍💫. Manged to get the onsite with pumped arms and Elvis legs haha.

Nice climbing, a little delicate in places.

Couple of balancy moves that I didn’t quite have the right balance for, but was interesting climbing!

Good climb. There is a ledge halfway up that you can fall in to, so need to be sure of your footing before clipping into the 4th point.

Is this still considered 24 after the foot hold broke?

Someone added anchors, but you should do the top out for the true experience
