Ascents in Mount Alexandra by Matt Short

Nice variant, pulling over the bulge on crimps felt hard for the short.

A shame the first move is much harder than the rest of the climb. Nice long climb though.

Surprised that I haven't done this one before. Very good climbing on hidden holds.

I have been meaning to jump on this climb for ages. It has plenty of interesting moves and the crux wasn't where I thought it would be.

Really enjoy the climbs on this wall. Hard moves at the top.

Finally got to climbing this wall, the climbing was actually very good.

I have always just walked by this climb but now that I have done it I would recommend it to others.The bottom is crimpy with some interesting moves and the top is balancy.

Fun balancy arete climbing except for the start.

Thought I would try the variant this time. Does make it easier but no less fun.

Still can't link in the top section. I can do all of the moves but not all at once.

Been meaning to climb this for a while, good fun but not long enough.

Good Fun

Saw this climb got added and thought we would give it a try. Thought that it was a bit easier than 15 (probably 13/14) certainly easier than Snooze and You Lose. A bit dirty but I am sure that it will clean up very quickly with more ascents. Found a snake skin in a crack 2/3 up.

This route is harder than it looks. Probably a bit harder than 16. Great climb though.

An interesting route although short. Quite stiff for a 20.

The headwall of this climb is really good, quite fingery and slabby.

An interesting variation finish to Alpine really. Just as good but easier.

Nice end of day burn. Nothing too tricky with this route.

Wow what a climb. I took 2 rests (one at ring bolt and other one bolt from the end) this time but I will come back and get it clear. It climbed a lot different than it looked from the ground, took me a while to get brave enough to launch out on the lip to the anchor but discover that it was not too bad.

I don't know why but I always seem to do this route when I come here, barefoot this time.

I could not work out how to do the dyno move low down. Hands and feet were not great. Other than trhat one move it was easy.

Annoyed that I fell off this one. It was tricky establishing in the crack, after that it was good.

Very good route with some balancy moves and a nice little rooflet to finish.

The top of the slab was trickier than expected.

Lots of great moves, looks blank from down low but all of the hols are there. Very annoyed that I fell.

Got close but not quite there, 1 rest at the crossover move.
