V8 Fridge Lovers Anonymous Boulder 2m Very Good
Felix Binns
Tricky moves, gotta keep everything engaged the whole time, also finding that heel beta was huge

V7 Prison Break Boulder 3m Very Good
Felix Binns
Fridge moves into easy crimp finish, the chalked up mini jug that you explode to might break off, just use the lower section of the hold, the top part cracked on one of my attempts

V5/6 Le rocher explosif Boulder 3m Good
Felix Binns
This was so painful, the incredibly sharp crimps to go along with bleeding hands. This climb will get much harder if it gets any kind of regular attempts aswell, the main crimp in the center of the wall is completely hollow and flexes when you pull off it, could be an actual v6 or v7 when that hold breaks off.

Mosquito Lands Grinch Boulder
V8 Whosville Extension Boulder 4m Good
Felix Binns
This boulder ruined my skin more than any climb has in almost 8 years of climbing, the top section is a heartbreaker

V6 Whosville — 3 attempts Boulder 2m Good
Felix Binns
Feet are a luxury not present on this boulder, little nubs kept snapping off under me

18 ~19 Yabro - with Elena Trad 6m Good
Laurence Judd
Due to its proximity to other lines I suspect this may already be established. No chalk or gear placements so it could not be a trad line. Seemed around V3/4. Quite a sustained line til you get 1m from the top.

V1 Main Mantle Unknown Very Good
Callum Brett
good clean fun

V4 V4/5 Bellydancer Boulder Classic
Callum Brett
some super strong super fun moves here! used a very burly heel hook to start the mantle and then definitely relied more on shoulder/lat strength than technique finish. would say the grade felt about right

V1 Buzzing Boulder 3m
Callum Brett
warm up

V2 Hopping Boulder 3m Good
Callum Brett
little contrived, but still a good fun start to the day

V3 Watermelon Baby Boulder 4m Very Good
LJ Nielsen
The flake made this almost feel like a gym climb. Really nice movement. Some of the crimps look like they could snap off very soon, though.

V3 The Unfittable Boulder 4m
Ben Dickson
Really cool climb - not many climbs around SA with a kneebar to set up a handjam transition into a double-fist-jam followed by a balancecy shuffle into another fist jam. Initially I tried to finish up the offwidthy break - but after convincing myself to start up it, I realised I couldn't actually fit..

V4 V4/5 Bellydancer Boulder Classic
Ben Dickson
Well rested so sent this fairly easily first try today. May be on the easier side of V4 physically, but beta is somewhere between bizarre and very flexible, so don't think it's V3. Extending this from the lower right hand is doable but exceptionally hard so we gave up on it for now

V1 Baby Cricket Boulder 4m
Ben Dickson
Rock still felt faintly wet as hadn't gotten much sun, which made the top feel pretty.. exciting (although I had missed a good hold in the crack higher which would have make things a bit more secure). Can be climbed in a lot of different ways

Wed 13th May 2020 - Rocky Gully
V3 Demented Whale Assaults Rock Boulder 2m
Ben Dickson
The climb name is fairly accurate description of me topping out - so that may cloud my estimate of grade... however I'm pretty sure climbing that topout gracefully would make it about V7

V2 Overland Sit Boulder 3m
Ben Dickson
About same difficulty I think - trades the first crux for a different style one. Nice enough climb but I prefer the stand-start of this.

V2 Overland Express SIt Boulder 2m
Ben Dickson
Good suggestion by Pete to try the sit-start. Makes the overly short Overland Express into quite a nice technical face climb with maybe 5-6 moves despite being maybe just over 2m high.

VB Caboose Boulder 2m
Ben Dickson
May be nice beginner climb - low, requires more positioning than strength

V1 Big Caboose Boulder 2m
Ben Dickson
One move mantely thing

V0 Watered Down Babies Boulder 3m
Ben Dickson
Mostly recorded as a neat way to document a safer top-out for Watermelon Baby

V1 Another Case of Lowball Madness Boulder 2m
Ben Dickson
More FRA than FA as Pete and Hung climbed this boulder in some way years ago but never recorded the line. Climbs remarkably better than it looks

V4 Instantaneous Combustion - with Ollie Dow Boulder 3m Average
Laurence Judd
Based on my ability and past experience I would have graded this a V3. I don't believe this to be a classic or even a 1 star climb. The rock was crumbly and part of the flaky crimp was hollow and moving under weight. A rock also fell from being touched on the way up. This could be a 1-2 star climb if loose crumbly rock was scraped away.

V2 Hopping - with Ollie Dow Boulder 3m Good

A bold hop on a slab made for an interesting send.

Good, and grade seems about right I think

V2 Hopping Boulder 3m

Can also be done statically using the arete also. May be a V1 also, not sure

V4 Chilean Boulder 3m
Ben Dickson
Had enough tape on fingers that this was borderline aid-climbing, as all the right-hand holds were sharp crimps with poor feet.. but otherwise nice enough climb. Did the sit-start with left-hand on top of the low "arete hold" and right-hand on the hold on the face, possibly should have ~matched the left hand?
