Ascents in Illawarra and Shoalhaven by Jack Ferguson

Was meant to start the weekend leading this but got to scared so Jas was a gentleman and went up first

Sustained pump most of the way through, but good spots to shake out. Jason's sling got stuck around a bit rock so spent a good amount of time trying to remove it before eventually giving up to rap back down after and retrive it. He stitched up just before the crux to remove weight and then just clipped off the remaining cams for me to pick up on my way. Awesome fun doing that Crux with 26 pieces hanging off my harness

Felt really good about leading today after psyching myself out on Saturday morning, only a healthy amount of Trad fear today. Really cool climb, glad I felt good enough to do it again

Much nicer to come back and have a second crack at this climb after being proper scared last time for some reason, I deffinitly climbed to far around the arete last time so know exactly where I went wrong. This time climbed up onto the arete pedestal and wind had picked up so much it blew my earring straight out of my ear!

Easily the most scared I've ever been on a climb, bottom pretty tricky but then mostly jugs, got to the Tom section where the bolts get run out and needed to place a blue cam and take due to pump, must have done something weird because the next moves felt way harder than a 17.

Really nice climb, made extra special by the sheer amount of whales cruising past while belaying and climbing

First Trad lead, after seconding and cleaning in the dark they other day. Absolute terrifying first lead.

First full trad, seconded in the dark and cleaned. Probably helped the fear factor not being able to see the full way to the water.
