Send! Stoke is high. Executed the bouldery first section perfectly in 2 mins. Then took me around 6 tentative goes up and down over 25 mins to get comfortable with the 5th clip and then slapped and thrutched my way to freedom. It did not climb the way I'd visualized.

fuak, I couldn't see one of the carrots and thought it was gonna be some 10m runout on tricky slab with no chalk anywhere so I bailed. Once on the ground again I could see the carrot from the side so I went up again and sent. Mega rock quality and very engaging.

Rolled in late feeling flat but summoned the courage to get back on this. First attempt went way smoother than last week but I ended up dripping blood on Alec and taking a mini whipper at the crux. Regrouped, retaped and tried again and somehow managed to sort the beta out enroute and get through the crux section by the finest of margins. It was all only just in the end and definitely one of my more memorable sends. Right up there with the best routes in Ebor.

First shot involed mining through the dead trees at the top. There is no suitable anchor at the top besides trees well back. (maybe consider lower offs as this route is proper classic). Second shot involved me pulling the crux then rather than using a leading heel hook I chose to use a leading sheniqua ( my butt) to shuffle onto the ledge. Turns out that lichen is quite slippery and I started sliding off upside down to my horror. Managed to recover though ahaha

FFA. I’ll always remember the first time Skippy and I stood beneath this grand granite roof staring up dumbstruck at the splitter crack that runs through the heart of it. From that moment on it became somewhat of an obsession. Armed with honed beta, extra chinnies and an anticipated cool southerly change, I finally got up it clean on my very last attempt before the rain arrived and a planned leave of absence set in. This one was a team effort. Massive fist pumps to fellow roof crack froth-dogs, Skippy and Benji. May both of you always ‘just gonna send it’.

Benji and Ben went earlier and I knocked off mid arvo and trundled up stylishly late. They'd had a solid session and Ben had already cracked the crux which is just sick. Benji had a go at leading up the first slab and roof crack pitch. Apparently they'd had an epic cleaning session and it showed. After Benji retreated I had a go and "flashed" it. The caveat is I had been on this on our very first session here but I had retreated from the sea of choss, loose dinner plates, and since trundled death boulders. Benji reckons its a legit flash because it's genuinely so different. It actually climbs well with a fun left hip stretching move through the bulge. Apparently there is a cave I need to explore in there which I completely missed.

Wow. Deliverance certainly can't produce two spectacularly good routes right next to each other can it...? Aparently so. Sick find Skippy! Got it clean on TR, then followed up with a clean lead on gear which Skippy reckons took me close to an hour...(surely not?!). A delicate techy start complete with an unsuspecting wild finish.
