Ascents in Nowra by z_swander

Tough crux, and confusing last few meters. According to the printed guide, it stops at the first set of double bolts (offset). The high bolts are for the next climb right, and it was awkward as anything to climb out of the gully and clip them. Might be a sweet link up to head far right after the crux, but I can't remember if that looked feasible.

So very good.

Hadn't been on this in ages, and needed to create new beta for the crux. Top sloper section is kinda shit.

Was told this was 16, and got thoroughly pumped trying o work it out on the flash attempt. Not really accurate, had to give a few grunts to push through on the 2nd shot.

Very classy.

Has an all time kneebar at the end of the traverse. Could go on gear

Curious about the direct start.

It's on from the moment you pull on, and trades hold size for pump above the crux.. Not my strength, but I love a good flogging

Most interesting climb on the Sloth Wall? It's bolted people, get on it.

Had to play the puss card. It started raining, and the rope was already running through draws on the anchor. Get's wide and awkward past the overhang. #4 x2 for up high.

Climb GG instead.

This is too classy for Bundy . Spectacular route, techo and a bit burly to start. Would be mega with a few more moves. 2nd shot.

First half is great.

Relentless from halfway up. Pumped out trying to figure out the high crux on the onsight attempt.

Not a huge fan. There are two lines up high, and the low traverse is not well protected.

Nice warm up

Headed for an onsite until a hold snapped. The rock is quite shit around these climbs.

Give this another grade, and again for an onsite. Don't warm up on this line, it is actually quite fantastic, but is very tricky to read and gives not quarter through a long crux sequence in the middle.

Tough first move at the grade.

2nd shot. That start move is tough.

Not a bad warm up, or another good option below grade 20.

Very unique with about every climbing style imaginable. A bit chossy up high, but that just adds to the flavor.

This climb deserves more love.

Brilliant sustained climbing

I forgot the safe word...and loved it.

I feel bad for putting a newbie on this in the rain. Might be good as part of the 24.

Received the sacred beta handed down through the ages. Very sustained, but also so very close to success for me.

Great with a bit of crack lowering the quality through the middle. It helps to have big muscle strength with strong fingers for the shallow pockets.

Worked my butt off for this. Just had to tweak my beta at the high crux, sendage.

Should have got this yesterday, stuck the crux throw then stuffed up the feet. Easy for a SC 23, just got to get back here soon.

Did this back in 12/14.

Watching someone do the first move will not guarantee a send...v7 boulder to start.

Tough nut and reachy. Did all the moves, but was too spent to give a second shot.

So very overrated.

Up and down in one go. Jugs everywhere.

Great holds and a killer starting sequence. Probably the best warm up in the alley area. More stars if it was longer.
