Ascents in Rare Earth Buttress having Beta

One of the better climbs I did today. Good start, easy middle, great top steep moves.

Good little climb with some touch and go moments up high.

Bouldery start to get feet established, then fun climbing to a great airy finish.

The best climb I did at this crag. The top steepness felt hard for 21, but it might have been the spooge, the lack of chalk, or my general weariness. Great techy stemming/layback corner to a stance, then an exciting roof with some powerful moves. Mostly good rock.

No way 18, the crack is great ! But the traverse under roof is hard and awkward..

I liked it a bit more once I was back on the ground. It's not 18. It might be better with beta.

Good crack, but confusion at roof, unclear route and bolt placement.

Hard final clip. Balancy and thin bottom. Good route

new approved start sequence and nice moves up high

On the "almost dark" with a headlamp. I was definitely worn out when I got to this, because both the tricky mantle start and the move out right at the top felt quite hard. Quite good rock and with a few tricky moves, but not as good as Violently Silence Me .

Sweet - do it from the ground with some longer draws.

good in parts, seeing it was pouring nice to have a warm up
