Ascents in South East as Hang dog by Daniel Smith

So very close to an onsight. Foot slipped towards the top of the hard start section. Got back on and climbed the whole thing clean from where I fell to. So I would say that I can do all the moves and it 'should' go clean next time.

Nearly got a cam stuck but thanks Gen for getting it out!

I definitely wasnt ready for this. Had to pull on gear to get through the first section and made a mess of the crack above. Will have to get a whole lot better before I try this again...

Really nice fun climbing. Once small fall trying to figure out the moves up to the 3rd bolt. If I had more sunlight left I probably would have tried again. One for next time.

Took a few attempts to figure out the crux sequence...

One small fall at the first crux and about 3 or 4 falls at the second crux. Will probably need some more work to make it go clean but it is a fantastic line!

Was really keen to redpoint my first 23 today but just fell short. Took one small fall onto the 5th bolt. Maybe next time...

Getting very very tired by this point. I dont think any individual move is really that hard, but it is quite sustained. Another one for me to come back Tony when I'm fresh.

First ever attempt of a 21 on trad. 2 small falls at the crux onto very good gear placements. The fact that if your gear pulls during a fall at the crux, you'll bust your ankles makes it just that much more exciting.

This is actually a great climb and totally would get a star even if it was at Frog. Took 2 small falls but the gear is really good. I'll blame the lack of friction you get when you smear on thick lichen for the hangdog...

Super thin fingers and hardly any face holds. Such a struggle. Maybe next time...

Only jumped on this because I still had an anchor setup from when I did buffy. First time on this and I think it is super nice. Could be my first 24 project so I'm pretty excited for that.

Super interesting climb and super sustained. Definitely have never experienced foot jams this painful before! Want to try and kead this clean before the end of the year!

One small fall at the crux...

Have been wanting to tick this for sooo long but never quite manage to do it. This time fell once at the crux just a move or two before the second crack.... the closest I've ever been to getting it clean.

Great climb this one. Took my first fall on gear too. Was terrifying but good to know this stuff works! Will have to come back for the redpoint attempt.
