V3 | ★ Ambers Ruin - with Elena | 3m | ★ Good
Interesting crack problem. Needs some more work before the send.
V3 | ★★ Unnamed 2 - with Elena | 3m | ★ Good
Solid V3. And with the claimed lower start it feels like a V4. Strong moves up a great arete.
V0 V1 | ★ The Nose (Unnamed 3) - with Elena | 3m | ★ Good
Nice line with an even better sit start. Give the sit a go for a bit more of a challenge.
V1 | ★ Unnamed 4 - with Elena | 3m | ★ Good
Blank line with minimal decent holds.
V0 | ★ Unnamed 5 - with Elena | 4m | ★ Good
high quality line with a nice right hand variant going at around V2.

V3 | ★★ Unnamed 2 | 3m | ★★ Very Good
Repeat. Always a fun little compression gem tucked away in Black Hill!
V2 V3 | ★ Ambers Ruin | 3m | ★ Good
Nice little crack. Much better now that a nice little ring lock is required to pull off the ground. Hold improvements are just one of the benefits to being fat!
V3 | ★ Ambers Ruin - with Pete | 3m | ★ Good
Repeat. Fun crack climb. I re-sent this, Pete tried and broke the good edge of the start hold, and we both climbed it with the new start hold which looks way more solid now. The new start improves the climb, hard to tell if it made it any harder, but climbs differently and the start move is now also jam which is nice (a weird semi finger-lock)
V3 | ★★ Unnamed 2 - with Pete | 3m | ★★★ Classic
Repeat. Excellent climb. As hard as I remember; fairly convinced this is V4 (in comparison to almost anything except maybe Pauls Roof warped grades)

V3 | ★ Ambers Ruin (Unnamed 1) | 3m | ★ Good
Done starting with left-hand on decentish hold in crack, right-hand jam below. One slightly powerful move to get up, then a series of jams to get feet up for the top. Feels similar grade-wise to the non-eliminate route. Actually quite nice climb, and doesn't feel too contrived for an eliminate (given the start holds, would be quite hard to climb back into the regular line)
V3 | ★★ Unnamed 2 | 3m | |||||
Really nice climb. Couldn't do this when I was last here in Aug 2017 with Pete/Carl/etc, but done today after a couple of attempts once I remembered sequence. Definitely much harder than V2 - given the last 2 commented ticks on here, and it felt harder to me than most of the V4's I've done at Grampians recently, I'll bump it. Feels V4'y to me, but is quite shouldery which I'm weak at, so I'll err on the side of sandbagging, and nudge this to V3
V0 V1 | ★ The Nose (Unnamed 3) | 3m
A nice V0. Most trustworthy holds on this face also
V1 | ★ Unnamed 4 | 3m | |||||
This felt far more committing than I recall it from last time - rock is pretty friable, and crux was last move to the top, standing on almost nothing, popping from a not-great crimp. It's possible a hold has come of at about 3/4 height, as there is a clear patch of rock there. Nicer of the three slab lines here, just shame the rock quality is slightly sketchy
V0 | ★ Unnamed 5 | 4m | |||||
Felt harder than Unnamed 3 on the left of the slab, crux also at the top.

Really cool line. Powerful for the grade.
