Ascents in Mitcham Quarries by pamelalansbury having trad-cpr or ascent-date

I've always wanted to do this! I've been climbing at Crash for close to 15 years now and I feel like this was the icing on the cake. Climbed through sections I have never been before which was nice. Relatively easy climbing up to Taste The Pains overhang then it picks up. Pay extra caution crossing the bee hive and the chossy corner's roof. I was only stung 4 times. Extra points to those that don't get stung at all... An adventure route.

The trad bit is sketchy.

Happy to still be alive! Really is a journey into the macabre. If you happen to still be on at the overhang the climbing is really nice from this point. Before that it feels like every move is going to be your last. Wanna thank the lad for getting me psyched (again). Now all that's left is 'Disposable Garbage'... Joke route no more!

Probably the first trad lead of this route? Marked up in the old Neagle guide as top rope. Taken out of the new guide. Guess they can put it back in now. Essentially a boulder problem. 6 moves. Good protection.

Climbs really well. One of the rare climbs here that tops out. Well protected.

Quite a nice little route. I played around on top rope with Ryan on this back in the day but never got back to leading it. You could potentially knock the loose block off at the top and finish on the overhang with a fresh set of chains. Maybe it'll happen.

I suspect a hold has come off in the high V-corner before heading right onto the slab. It feels so much harder now. Still not giving up on find the grade 16 beta I used but I doubt it's there now! It's going to be a very intimidating repeat when I get around to doing it again on gear!
