Ascents in Froggies

After taking a chunk out of my knee on Jigsaw I tried this arete as it looked more straight forward. As it turns out it was, but required some gusto.

A tough line and a satisfying one.

Good fun once I worked out where the feet go to boost up

When topping out do not pull onto the top boulder on the right. It is very unstable and moves when pulled.

On a side note, fun little problem. Soft V5

Got 2 holds from the top, pretty tricky footwork with the space available

Finally held that heel hook but couldnt get feet up to make a move to the top! Will hopefully go next time!

I forgot how nice this little problem is. Good movement on bulgy slopers. Some of the best features you'll find on any boulder in the forest.

A very large section of this boulder peeled off while we were investigating before climbing. We also found the start hold to be flexing. I would advise not climbing this one at least until it is thoroughly cleaned up.

Landing and lowest holds surrounded by bramble bush. Could not find a way to get off the start without getting to close to bush.

Real close. Got all the moves in isolation, just need to link. Really sick compression problem with one real tricky heel hook.

Nice line, the sit start seemed too hard for a V1. Cool movements.

Don't know why it's taken me this long to go back to this. Third go!

Nice warm up for other lines nearby

In hindsight my beta for sending this line was probably the whackest. The last move throw is the sickness! Deserving of the 2 stars imo

Took me a few goes to send it this time. I think it's an excellent little problem with a hard start...

Definitely worth trying. Cool moves, V3 grade climb IMO

The hardest part about this problem was not brushing the tree with your body that stands behind you!
